Terms of Service
Effective: 1 June 2026
These Terms of Service are available in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese for convenience. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the English version and any translation, the English version shall prevail.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TaipingKita, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use TaipingKita. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account. You may not share your account credentials with others.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post on TaipingKita. By posting, you grant TaipingKita a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform. You are solely responsible for the content you post and warrant that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: post content that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, or illegal under Malaysian law; impersonate any person or entity; send spam or unsolicited commercial messages; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; or post content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred.
6. Content Moderation
TaipingKita reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines, and to suspend or permanently ban accounts that repeatedly violate our policies, without prior notice.
7. Intellectual Property
The TaipingKita name, logo, and platform design are the intellectual property of TaipingKita. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from these without our prior written permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
TaipingKita is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, TaipingKita shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
